Chancery Court is a court of equity. It is more than a trite phrase that the court of equity is a court of conscience. Chancery courts reward nothing but conscience, good faith, and reasonable diligence, which call forth its powers. It aids the vigilant, and not those who slumber on their rights, but will find a remedy to any wrong, even if the law has not addressed it. This office also deals in matters that may be nebulous, but where fairness demands a result. Equity does not suffer a wrong without a remedy, and does complete justice when it is called forth.
