The final step in the litigation process is an appeal. This is an important part of the judicial system, which should not be overlooked. Even after a successful trial, a prevailing party must be prepared respond to an appeal. When you feel the trial court has reached an incorrect decision, Courts of Appeal exist to correct errors of law and to reverse cases wrongly decided. Our appeal practice includes the following areas:

  • Appellant and Appellate practice

  • Drafting appeal briefs

  • Interlocutory appeals

  • Petition for Writ of Certiorari

  • Oral argument before the Mississippi Supreme Court and Mississippi Court of Appeals (when granted)
